Under our new partnership, the imaging center at our Mt Clemens office has been merged with Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. As a part of this larger network your patient information and testing results are joined together at all Henry Ford sites. So whether you are receiving care at our office or at any other Henry Ford location your results will be all available in one place. With this change we can cut down on duplicate testing and better watch trends in your treatment.
The bills that you receive will also look different as we make these changes. Most of you know us as Internal Medicine Associates. Since January 2015 we have been Alliance Health. As our diagnostic services become a part of Henry Ford Macomb Hospital you will also see their name on some of the bills. Please note that x ray services now use the same radiologists that the hospital uses. So you may see separate charges for the doctor who interprets your images.
Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and Alliance Health have been very careful about this transition. We know that it will result in improved coordination, professional service, and cost savings. As a result of the change, some of our bills are getting sent later than we normally like. If you have received imaging services after January of 2015 you will see some charges coming out now.
