About Me:
Renee earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Oakland University in 1994 and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Wayne State University in 2001. She is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Renee has extensive clinical experience, having worked with the neurosurgery team at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, as well as the neurology team at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield. She went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Oakland University in 2014.
In addition to her clinical practice, Renee is a faculty member at Oakland University’s School of Nursing, where she serves as the lead faculty for the Adult Gerontology Primary Care Program. She is an active member of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association and currently sits on the Board of Directors at Canterbury on the Lake in Waterford, Michigan.
Renee provides care for patients ages 18 and older, with a special focus on the care of older adults. Her clinical interests and expertise include women’s health, health promotion, and the management of both acute and chronic medical conditions.
