Dr. Sparks was born and raised in Kentucky where she completed her internal medicine training at the University of Kentucky in Bowling Green.  She is passionate about primary care and developing relationships with her patients.  Her goal as a provider is to establish trust through listening and taking the time to understand individual concerns to provide patient-centered care.  She believes that her role as a physician extends beyond diagnosing and creating treatment plans, but also includes providing education, serving as an advocate, and supporting her patients through the various seasons of life.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, staying active, watching Kentucky basketball and spending time in northern Michigan on Lake Charlevoix.
