Dr. Schmittou earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. During his residency, he gained extensive inpatient experience with focus of critical care and clinical procedures.

With a strong background in volunteer service, Dr. Schmittou values giving back to the community and building meaningful connections with his patients. He is known for his personable approach and committed to providing high-quality compassionate care.
